Shanghai marathon turns into a sightseeing tour

Have a bit of sightseeing with your 26 mile run. That?s what the annual Shanghai International Marathon organizers are saying as they announce the race?s new route. The course will be designed not only to fit the usual marathon distance requirements but also show off Shanghai sites on both sides of the Huangpu, aka the Expo. Runners will start their journey on December 5 at Nanjing Dong Lu Pedestrian Street and finish at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in Pudong (that would be the huge building you pass going to the airport still under construction).
